We ate dinner at the famous Chinese Market which is probably my favorite Magic City best kept secret! Hands down best dumplings in Birmingham...
Saturday morning we woke up and started our road trip to ATL Town. Our first stop was brunch at Gladys Knights - Chicken and Waffles on Peachtree. What an experience... Ridiculously delicious.
After completely gorging ourselves.... we waddled to the Georgia Aquarium. We were seriously like kids in amazement and I highly recommend kids of all ages visiting. The dolphin show was very entertaining to say the least. Although the story line was a corny human musical, the dolphin tricks and commands they performed was almost shocking! I always watched "Flipper" as a child but, these dolphins blew him out of the water. I had no idea they were so "trainable" and it got me motivated to train my Yorkie. He would be mortified to know all the tricks those dolphins did!
Best part of the Aquarium was Gator Gabe meeting an albino relative....
Next activity was the Young/Rudell wedding at the Chattahoochee Nature Center. This was Gabe and I's first Jewish Wedding and I can honestly say this was probably the best wedding I have ever been too. We had a wonderful evening catching up with family and made many memories.
Sunday morning we said goodbye to everyone and ate some authentic taco's before our road trip back to the Magic City...
On our way home we noticed a biker drinking and driving his motorcycle - classic! (Note there are two visible beers and I'm assuming his passenger seat cooler is filled with more....
We stopped by the Bass Pro Shop on the way home, watched a touching special on ESPN about the basketball failure Chris Herren who turned his life around. Gabe grilled on the BGE and we called it a night!Such a great weekend and I think my brother is the absolute coolest.
